False behavior cannot be hidden anymore.
False behavior can be fatal for our brand.
False behavior leads to distrust.
And distrust weakens our brand.
Culture is simply the collection of behaviors that are encouraged and discouraged by people, our surrounding and by processes.
And these behaviors, either good or bad, occur in the interactions people have with our company and brand.
It`s those interactions as brand that shape the information about us and lead to our brand image.
And this brand image can differ extremely from our brand identity.
Brand identity and brand image are related but indeed distinct concepts.
Both are essential ingredients of strong brands.
A company can enhance brand trust and loyalty by ensuring that there is congruence between brand identity and brand image.
Now you will say:
“Why should I care about my corporate culture, I am satisfied with it!”
This is a fallacy.
Your brand and the own corporate culture exist whether they are managed or not.
And what you don`t manage cannot lead to best results.
Success begins with branding that sets the course for further success.
Only when we know our destination and our purpose, we are able to bring our “ship” on the right course of success.
And a strong corporate culture gives our “ship” the needed image.
